I am a American Soldier deployed to Baghdad, Iraq. My wife Ginger Mother of 3 1/2 is technology challenged. She would rather get up and change the channel than to try to figure out the remotes. We have TV,TIVO,DVD,Surround, multiple Game systems, and dish. With all these remotes, and with me 8000 miles away until next March, I think she just doesnt even try to watch tv unless I am online or on teh phone so she can get help troubleshooting the remote NIGHTMARE! This can cause horrible side effects, ecspecially when my daughter Emily wants to watch Doodlebops! You can listen really hard and hear her screams from Texas all the way over here on a quiet morning! I cant tell if its my wife or my daughter though. Please help my wife and the mother of my children. SGT Robinson Baghdad, Iraq P.S. I enclosed a picture of my happy face. Thankx

After a couple months of dating, my future husband invited me over to his parents house for dinner. His parents are from Greece, and I knew this was a very important dinner, as he didn't bring just anyone home to meet his parents. His father just got home from work, exhausted, and plopped on the couch. His mother was downstairs doing laundry while dinner was cooking. We sat in the living room with his father watching TV and making small talk. Out of the blue, his father starts yelling, "Maria," and something else in Greek I couldn't understand. When she didn't answer, he yelled again, "MARIA." She came scurrying up the stairs and asked what he wanted. Once again, he said something in Greek that I did not understand, but she walked over to the coffee table that was a foot in front of him, picked up the remote control, and handed it to him. She quickly turned around and scurried back downstairs. My mouth fell open. I looked over to my future husband and asked, "Did he just call her upstairs to get the remote control for him?". I could not believe what I just saw. We both laughed until we cried. After dinner, my future husband lit into him for being so lazy.
